This high-impact, 48-hour hackathon brings together 15 computer scientists and 5 radiologists from Rashid Hospital to collaborate on cutting-edge AI solutions for challenges in stroke imaging. Participants will work in interdisciplinary teams, leveraging advanced machine learning techniques and medical expertise to develop innovative approaches that enhance stroke detection, diagnosis, and treatment. Supported by leading partners, including IBM, the American University of Sharjah (AUS), MBZUAI, and Khalifa University, the hackathon provides access to expert mentorship, state-of-the-art tools, and real-world datasets. Over two days, teams will brainstorm, prototype, and present their AI-driven solutions to a panel of industry and academic experts, with the potential for real-world implementation in clinical settings.
