TEDxCDA

The Community Development Authority (CDA) is proud to be a pioneer as the first governmental agency in the UAE and the Arab World to host an institutional TEDx event. The theme for TEDxCDA 2025 is ” Empowering Communities through Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation”, where innovative ideas and transformative perspectives will converge to inspire advancements for community development and social work. TEDxCDA 2025 involved 11 speakers, some of whom were CDA staff members and the remaining were external speakers, local and international. The majority of the TEDx talks focus on social entrepreneurship as a concept, hybrid model, and a win-win combination for doing good and doing business. Additionally, a few talks were inspirational talks about self-fulfillment journeys that ranged from an inspiring journey of a person of determination to a psychology melodrama representing the conflict between positivity, ambition, and motivation on the one hand and negativity, pessimism, and procrastination on the other that are associated with our human nature.
