Event Title: Higher Colleges of Technology Sharjah Education UAE Early Childhood Education of the Future Inclusive Innovative and Sustainable Theme: Year of Community 2025 Together We Shape the Future of UAE ECE Department: Faculty of Education Location: MPH and/or SJB Education Hub Timing: 18 February 2025 Tuesday 9:00-12:00pm During this event, Faculty of Education teachers and students will conduct concurrent sessions showcasing the future of Early Childhood Education in the UAE, emphasizing innovation, inclusivity, and sustainability. The event includes: Math Day for early childhood education students Exhibition of ECE innovative inclusive and sustainable projects Workshop or Seminar on innovative inclusive and sustainable early childhood education Session 1: SJB Education Mathnovation Learning Centres Venue: MPH and/or Education Hub HCT-SJB Early Childhood Education students will prepare Mathnovation and Manipulatives Learning Centres focused on developing basic math concepts and skills. Young learners will engage in 3-4 hands-on differentiated and progressive activities at each center. This event aims to foster an appreciation and love for mathematics. Session 2: Exhibition of ECE Innovative Inclusive and Sustainable Projects Venue: MPH and/or Education Hub HCT-SJB Early Childhood Education students will showcase their innovative inclusive and sustainable projects designed to enhance early learning experiences. The exhibition will highlight creative teaching strategies adaptive learning materials and environmentally friendly solutions that promote equity and accessibility in early childhood education. Session 3: Workshop and Seminar on Innovative Inclusive and Sustainable Early Childhood Education Venue: MPH and Education Hub HCT-SJB Early Childhood Education students and faculty will lead an interactive workshop and seminar on best practices for early childhood education. The session will include expert insights discussions and activities designed to equip educators with strategies for fostering equitable and environmentally sustainable learning environments. Workshops: Integrating Emirati Culture into ECE Lessons Math CPA Instructional Approach Implementing Effective Inclusive Pedagogy in ECE Classrooms Agenda: As part of February Innovation Month the Faculty of Education is hosting an event to highlight the future of Early Childhood Education in the UAE through innovation inclusivity and sustainability. The event will feature Mathnovation Learning Centres to strengthen numeracy skills an exhibition of student-led projects and a workshop and seminar led by experts to equip educators with effective strategies for fostering equitable and environmentally conscious learning environments.
